Brooks Wine
Every wine has a story. I have said this before. We made plans to visit Brooks Wines and meet with Janie Brooks. She told us the story of her brother who started the winery and the support of the local community, especially other local wine makers. You can read the full story on their web site here.

Inside the tasting room is gorgeous and we were shocked to learn how many different wines they produce every year, over 50 labels from various vineyards.

We planned out our visit perfectly the Chef was busy preparing today’s menu. They create a new pairing each month centered around a particular wine from the area.

Of course the wine is why we are here and Janie poured us wines that were not just truly delicious but also so very different from each other. You can view our entire tasting along with an interview with the wine maker Chris Williams and also go behind the scenes while they are bottling this years “Amycas” a dry aromatic white blend in the video we produced below.
It was a beautiful foggy winter day when we visited. We sat on the patio while enjoying a Pinot Noir from the Crannel vineyard and our charcuterie board.

I am looking forward to returning and browsing more wines from the library, you can view their current available labels by visiting their website here.
